Cooper Mooring , the largest and most experienced vessel mooring service provider on the Mississippi River, provides a comprehensive portfolio of professional mooring services to operations located from the mouth of the Mississippi River to port of Greater Baton Rouge. Services are available at private and public terminals, city-front docks and midstream facilities operating in the ports of Plaquemines, St. Bernard, New Orleans, St. Charles, and Baton Rouge. Cooper Mooring operates the nation’s largest fleet of mooring launch boats and vehicles. Operations and personnel are dispatched from our central office at Algiers Point in New Orleans, LA., 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

In addition to bulk and ro-ro carriers, Cooper Mooring provides mooring services for US military ships, passenger and cruise ships, and private vessels. Gangway services are available by request to any location along the Lower Mississippi River.

All launches, vehicles, and gangways are repaired by a team of highly qualified technicians with decades of experience in the mooring and maritime industry.

Cooper Mooring was established in January 1959 and has grown from a small operation with only four employees to the largest mooring operation in the United States of America.
